Traditional
There is a style cohesion that is predictable in the most comforting of ways to those that embrace a Traditional style. There may be a sense of formality, but that doesn't mean stuffy and over lacquered cherry wood! The new Traditional incorporates some of the rules of old, but still has a fresh and appealing look and feel.
New England
New England style with its sophisticated nautical feel originated in cities that cropped up around major seaports in the Northeast. Generally this style is not overly trendy, but instead follows an unhurried, stately manner in which things seem to be in their rightful place. Think linen fabrics, sisal rugs, classically framed art and crystal or brass chandeliers.
